Job summary

QCR Holdings, Inc. in Missouri seeks a Branch Manager to lead the Retail Banking team, oversee client service, sales, and supervision of Community Bankers, Relationship Bankers, and Client Experience. The role ensures accurate, timely, courteous service for clients under regulatory and compliance protocols.

The Branch Manager will drive client outreach, staff development, and growth, while supervising lobby and drive-up operations and maintaining risk controls across the branch ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent.
• Three years of banking, client service, or retail experience. One year of Lending experience preferred.
• Three years supervisory experience.
• Excellent client service skills.
• Strong leadership skills required with a desire to develop others.
• Solid understanding of various standard financial reports and information.
• Ability to interpret, analyze, and communicate financial information to diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a demanding environment.
• Knowledge of banking software and Microsoft 365 with attention to detail.
• Under SAFE Act, Mortgage Loan Originator registration within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of the branch, including client service, sales, business development, and operations.
• Develop sales and business development goals and objectives.
• Achieve or exceed sales goals and establish goals for all Relationship Bankers.
• Provide strategic leadership and project management for workflow and staffing.
• Implement processes and ensure staff compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Maintain knowledge of internal audit procedures and legal regulations and ensure staff compliance.
• Identify and detect fraud and follow appropriate procedures.
• Understand consumer lending products and stay updated on lending regulations.
• Grow and participate in Partnership Banking to expand the client base.
• Foster relationships with teams across the organization and external clients.
• Hire, develop, motivate, and train staff; plan and delegate work.
• Evaluate performance and deliver quarterly touch points and evaluations.
• Maintain a pay-for-performance culture with merit increases and variable pay.
• Provide training needs analysis and coordinate with training to deliver programs.
• Create and maintain staffing schedules to ensure coverage.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
