Job summary

Sonepar's Capital Electric Hanover, PA branch is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee sales, administration and operations. The role focuses on budgeting, inventory control, and profit maximization while ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction and implementing market growth opportunities.

The candidate will lead projects, manage logistics and staffing, and foster a culture of high energy and accountability across the team.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree with emphasis on business, or an equivalent combination of knowledge and experience.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical products and the distribution industry with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working with Eclipse ERP is preferred.
• 2–3 years of supervisory or training experience.
• Proven leadership and organizational skills.
• Able to problem solve.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 50 lbs., occasionally more.
• Reliable, responsible, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all branch functions in sales, administration and operations.
• Budget, inventory control, and profitability to maximize branch performance.
• Drive market growth opportunities and customer satisfaction.
• Lead projects and sales staff to expand customer base and margins.
• Manage daily branch operations and logistics, including cross-dock activities.
• Supervise branch inventories, purchasing, shipping, receiving, warehousing and re-ordering.
• Promote a safe working environment and report hazards promptly.
• Provide direction and cultivate a high-energy, entrepreneurial culture.
