Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) seeks a Branch Supervisor to oversee a small branch, ensuring smooth operations and an outstanding customer experience.

You will lead staff, drive deposits and loan activity, and coordinate branch goals with senior management while maintaining compliance with regulations. Flexible travel to nearby branches may be required; 40 hours weekly with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• A.A.S. degree or equivalent banking education and training
• Valid driver license and reliable transportation
• Minimum four (4) years’ experience in related positions
• All applicants must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises branch staff and service operations, including overrides, ledger, vault audits, overdrafts, cash management and ATM duties
• Work with management to set growth, sales, and profit objectives for the office
• Solicit new business from current and prospective customers and cross-sell
• Monitor sales and customer service performance against goals; discuss with manager
• Maintain knowledge of consumer products and services to meet customer needs
• Lead staff meetings and provide regular feedback for performance improvement
• Open and maintain deposit accounts; may make loans with oversight
• Coordinate staff hiring, orientation, training, performance reviews and scheduling
• Ensure compliance with laws, internal controls, and company policies
• Travel to other branches in the area to provide support as needed
