Job summary

Merit Restorations in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a Branch Lead to own daily operations—people, projects, and the branch's financial health.

You will lead estimating and project management on large losses, coordinate repairs with approved contractors, and drive safety, integrity, and client satisfaction.

The role requires a proven leader with 5+ years in restoration or construction, strong communication, staffing, and budgeting skills, plus Xactimate experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in restoration or construction industry.
• Proven leader with strong team-building and retention skills.
• Self-directed and driven—ownership of outcomes.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Clear, confident communicator with clients, adjusters, team, and executives.
• Experience with XactAnalysis, Xactimate, and Cotality is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup and launch of the new branch.
• Manage budgets, review financial performance, and hit targets.
• Oversee claims distribution and project management for multiple jobs.
• Coordinate repairs with approved contractors to meet Merit standards.
• Monitor safety, integrity, and quality across projects.
• Conduct regular reviews and maintain on-call coverage.
