Bobcat of Indy - Ellettsville is seeking a dynamic Branch Lead/Rental Manager to drive sales, manage the branch, and ensure operational excellence. The role requires supervisory experience and a results-driven approach within a growing company.

Monday–Friday dayshift. You will oversee all branch functions, coordinate equipment deliveries, and lead the Rental Department while maintaining strong customer service and budget discipline.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of management experience.
• Stable work history in construction equipment or related business.
• Understanding of financial statements including P&L, forecasting and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead all internal branch functions to achieve sales and profit objectives.
• Train and motivate staff while promoting a positive working atmosphere.
• Own the branch P&L including equipment, rental, parts, service and supplies.
• Lead the Rental Department and manage rental/demo files.
• Arrange transportation for equipment deliveries and store transfers.
• Direct store activities to maximize customer service and profits.
• Control inventories of parts, supplies, and rental equipment.
• Establish a culture of customer service.
• Recommend staffing, wage, inventory, and policy improvements to Operations Manager.
• Coordinate with Division Credit Manager on credit decisions.
• Prepare annual operating budgets for division leadership.
• Maintain facilities in clean, safe condition.
• Learn all aspects of business to cover for department heads.

$60,000 -$90,000 depending on experience

Monday - Friday dayshift

Responsibilities

• Lead all internal branch functions to achieve branch sales and profit objectives and to align with company operating procedures.

• Train and motivate all store personnel while promoting a positive working atmosphere.

• Responsible for profit and loss statement of the branch and departments including equipment, rental, parts, service and supplies.

• Lead the Rental Department. Handle the proper documentation for all equipment leaving and returning from rental. Maintain the rental and demo files.

• Arrange all transportation for equipment deliveries and store transfers.

• Direct all store-based activities so that customers are served, assets are controlled, company procedures are followed by all employees, and profits are generated.

• Control store-based inventories of parts, supplies, and rental equipment.

• Establish a culture of customer service throughout the store.

• Initiate and make recommendations to the Operations Manager regarding staffing, wage and salary levels, inventory levels, company policy and procedures.

• Cooperate with the Division Credit Manager, who has final authority regarding credit.

• Prepare annual operating budgets for the review and approval of the division leadership.

• Maintain all company operating facilities in clean, orderly, and safe condition.

• Learn all aspects of the business and be able to cover for all department heads at any time.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of management experience required. Industry related preferred.

• Stable work history with experience in the construction equipment business.

• Understanding of financial statements including P&L, forecasting, budgets, etc.

• Strong management skills including the ability to prioritize, balance, and manage multiple tasks.

• Must be results driven and a self starter.

Physical Requirements

• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.

• Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds

• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl
