Salem Five is a growing regional financial services organization with extensive branch network and diverse services in banking, insurance, wealth, and mortgage. The Assistant Branch Manager role focuses on leadership, coaching, sales management, and operations oversight across branches in Essex, Middlesex, Norfolk and Suffolk counties.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 3+ years related experience, and a drive for coaching and performance management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency and at least three years of related experience and/or training; supervisory/management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop staff, coach and recognize performance, and build customer-centric teams.
• Identify sales opportunities, deepen relationships, and grow market share with cross-sell products and services.
• Oversee branch operations including overdraft/vault/ATM management, account openings, policy adherence, and compliance.
