Job summary

United Refrigeration Inc. is seeking a dependable delivery driver to support daily branch operations in the Atlanta area. You will make deliveries and pickups, pull orders, and assist in stock movement while maintaining safe driving practices.

Responsibilities include pre-trip/post-trip inspections, maintaining trip logs, loading and unloading shipments, and providing courteous service to customers. CDL with hazmat endorsement is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid drivers license and CDL hazmat endorsement.
• Comply with all DOT regulations and company policies.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and handle heavy loads.
• Strong customer service and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries and pickups to customers, branches, vendors/suppliers.
• Pull orders for customers.
• Load and unload shipments using proper equipment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections per DOT regulations.
• Keep daily trip logs and reports.
• Prepare product for shipment via UPS, FedEx and common carrier.
• Receive shipments from carriers.
• Break down and put away stock using proper equipment.
• Greet customers promptly and courteously by name (if known).
• Answer telephones promptly and courteously identifying yourself and the company.
• Regular and punctual attendance.
