The position is based out of Lynchburg, VA.

Pay depends on experience, knowledge, and capabilities.

Summary
The Truck Driver delivers products to/from customers, branch/warehouse locations, and suppliers in a delivery van or box truck (No CDL required). Ensures deliveries meet customer requirements efficiently, with correct and damage-free materials.

What You’ll Do

• Inspect vehicle daily for defects and complete inspection reports
• Maintain cleanliness, service, and repairs; notify supervisor of issues
• Follow DOT, local, and state driving laws
• Load/unload vehicle; verify order accuracy and damage
• Assist in preparing orders for delivery if needed
• Complete delivery documentation thoroughly
• Handle returns and pickups from customers and suppliers
• Mentor entry-level drivers and support warehouse duties as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• Attend company driver training if no experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• At least 21 years old
• Pass pre-employment and annual Motor Vehicle Record reviews
• Verify non-expired medical certificate within 60 days
• No recent suspended licenses or at-fault accidents in past 3 years

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Handle loads up to 26,000 GVW
• Knowledge of safety, traffic, and driver laws
• Adhere to routes, schedules, safety, and laws
• Organizational and time management skills
• Customer service skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Overtime as needed
• Handling issues at different complexity levels depending on driver level

Working Conditions and Physical Demands
Includes exposure to noise, heat, cold, electrical hazards, and potentially dangerous equipment. Physical demands include sitting, walking, using hands, stooping, climbing, and communicating effectively. Lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally.
