Job summary

Multi Sales in Portland, Oregon is seeking a Counter Sales Keyholder to join our full-time team. You will assist customers at the counter, by phone, and by email, quote prices, process orders, and help keep the branch running smoothly.

You’ll have two years of counter sales and forklift experience, experience with quotes and POS, and be capable of opening/closing the branch as needed. We offer comprehensive benefits and room to grow with the company.

• Two years of industrial counter sales or similar customer-facing sales experience.
• Two years of warehouse operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the counter, by phone, and by email; provide pricing and product availability.
• Prepare quotes and sales orders, process payments and returns, and fulfill customer requests.
• Open or close the branch when assigned, follow procedures and complete end-of-day tasks.
• Support order pulling, shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse organization.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager to resolve issues and improve branch operations.

Counter Sales Keyholder

Multi Sales | Portland, Oregon | Full time, direct hire

$21-$25 per hour, depending on experience

What you’ll do

• Help customers at the counter, by phone, and by email; recommend products and provide accurate pricing and availability.
• Prepare quotes and sales orders, process payments and returns, and follow through on customer requests.
• Open or close the branch when assigned, following established procedures and completing end-of-day tasks.
• Support order pulling, shipping, receiving, inventory, customer pickups, and an organized, safe warehouse.
• Work with the Branch Manager to resolve issues, improve branch operations, and build lasting customer relationships.

What you’ll bring

• At least two years of industrial counter sales or similar customer-facing sales experience, plus two years of warehouse operations experience.
• Experience with quotes, orders, returns, and point-of-sale transactions; forklift experience is required.
• A dependable, customer-focused approach and the judgment to follow procedures when working independently.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office and learning technical products; ERP experience is preferred, and Epicor Solar Eclipse is a plus.
• A valid driver’s license/DOT clearance and ability to lift to 50 pounds. Keyholder, lead, or supervisory experience is preferred.
