Job summary

Accendra Health in the United States is seeking a Branch Coordinator to be the first and most consistent contact for patients and caregivers, delivering thoughtful service in person or over the phone.

You will coordinate equipment delivery, navigate insurance, and support recovery journeys with empathy, working a stable schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch. Accendra offers comprehensive teammate benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• English reading, writing, and speaking skills required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients arriving at the branch.
• Answer inbound calls and provide clear information.
• Coordinate equipment delivery and ensure timely care.
• Collect documentation, secure health plan authorizations, and ensure insurance compliance.
• Review patient accounts to optimize health plan benefits and access to care.
• Follow up with patients to confirm satisfaction and address needs.
• Test equipment as needed to ensure readiness.
• Support branch team and take on additional responsibilities.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients arriving at the branch, creating a welcoming and supportive experience
• Answer inbound calls, provide clear information, and resolve common questions or concerns
• Partner with the branch team to identify solutions and coordinate timely equipment delivery to meet patient needs
• Work closely with the sales team, referral sources, and patients to collect required documentation, secure health plan authorizations, and ensure compliance with insurance guidelines
• Review new and existing patient accounts to help maximize health plan benefits and accelerate access to needed equipment and care
• Proactively follow up with patients to confirm satisfaction and address any outstanding needs
• Test equipment functionality as needed to ensure quality and readiness
• Contribute to overall branch success by supporting additional responsibilities as assigned

Required
