Job summary

Leggett & Platt Inc. in North Carolina is seeking a Branch Controller to join the Corporate Finance team, supporting the Elite Comfort Solution branches in Maryland, Conover, and Verona.

You will lead month-end close, own the P&L, and drive financial accuracy across the network. The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, 5+ years in accounting (manufacturing preferred), and proficiency with Excel and Dynamics 365.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• 5+ years accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail oriented and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Complete month-end close for branches and own P&L accounting.
• Perform inventory reconciliation and analyze variances.
• Review standard vs actual gaps with branch management.
• Oversee capital expense projects and RAM system requests.
• Ensure proper landed costs for all materials and labor.
• Review roles for segregation of duties and prevent violations.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Take on other tasks as directed by management.
