Job summary

Uline is seeking a Branch Buyer to support the company’s new Connecticut facility. You will manage inventory, plan transfers, and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure product availability and service levels.

This role requires collaboration with Product Managers and senior buyers, warehouses, and distribution teams. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in supply chain or purchasing are expected, with Blue Yonder experience as a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, demand forecasting or related fields.
• Experience with demand and fulfillment software like Blue Yonder (JDA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels and purchasing for the Connecticut facility to meet customer demand.
• Plan and place transfer orders from distribution centers and purchase orders with vendors.
• Build partnerships with vendors and distribution management to ensure availability and resolve issues.
• Partner with Product Managers to address vendor issues and evaluate product changes.
• Mentor and develop Associate Buyers and help the team achieve purchasing goals.
