The ideal candidate will balance costs across carrying, ordering, and transportation while collaborating with product managers and vendors to resolve issues and improve performance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or 1–2 years related experience.
• Experience maintaining procurement records and vendor data.
• Strong analytical skills for forecasting and inventory management.
• Ability to balance inventory carrying costs, ordering costs, and transportation costs.
• Experience evaluating supplier performance and implementing corrective actions.
• Ability to resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors.

Aufgaben

• Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase orders for assigned product/vendor groups.
• Maintain procurement records including costs, buying multiples, and lead times.
• Maintain procurement records using spreadsheets, ERP systems, and related software.
• Meet with vendor representatives to understand product changes, lead times, and service issues.
• Participate in Supplier Performance reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Operations, and vendors to address root causes and corrective actions.
• Monitor and report damaged/overstocked inventory for expedited handling.
