Flagstar Bank in New York is seeking a Branch Banking Client Consultant I to deliver front-line service and teller support, helping clients achieve their financial goals.

You will welcome clients, identify needs, and complete transactions while educating customers on bank products. This role balances engagement with accurate processing and compliance to support branch growth and service goals.

Qualifications

• Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent.
• Minimum experience required: Less than 2 years of customer service and sales experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Financial Services Industry.

Responsibilities

• Sales Performance: Support team efforts to achieve growth targets in financial performance (all Teller related functions) and primary client acquisition.
• Client Experience: Provide positive client experience by assisting with account questions, problems and/or complaints and through research and communication resolve in a timely and effective manner.
• Risk Management: Deliver timely and accurate daily financial transactions; adherence to bank policies and regulations.
• ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Performs special projects and additional duties as required; compliance trainings and regulatory requirements.
