Job summary

Western Specialty Contractors’ Washington DC Branch is seeking a Branch Administrator to support daily office operations and accounting tasks. The role involves processing accounts payable, preparing customer billings, coordinating administrative functions, and generating reports to keep the branch running smoothly.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 4+ years of general office experience (construction background preferred), and proficiency with Windows-based

Responsibilities

  • Process Accounts Payables for Branch operations.
  • Prepare customer billings for all jobs and follow up with collections.
  • Assist in coordinating all administrative functions for operating personnel.
  • Gather information and prepare various financial and general reports.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in the absence of operating personnel.
  • Maintain a filing system for Branch office.
  • Maintain hourly employee records in the computer system.
  • Assist with completion of new-hire paperwork.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Open and distribute mail and perform other clerical tasks.

The Role

Our Washington DC Branch has an opportunity for a Branch Administrator. If you have a dynamic personality, are customer-focused, have strong communication skills, and meet the requirements we are looking for, then


This is an office environment that offers challenge and variety. Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Process Accounts Payables for Branch operation

  • Prepare customer billings for all jobs and follow up with collections

  • Assist in coordinating all administrative functions for operating personnel

  • Maintain a filing system for Branch office

Requirements

We are seeking a team player to contribute to the successful operations of the branch by providing effective administrative and accounting support to the operating personnel. This position will assist in all administrative aspects of the Branch office. Qualified candidates should possess a High School diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of general office experience with a construction background preferred. Thorough knowledge of PC based windows applications is strongly preferred, and the ability to develop spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.


Compensation for this role is determined using a variety of factors, including experience, skills, internal equity, market benchmarks, and the cost of labor in the different geographic locations where we operate. In addition to base pay, this position may also be eligible for:



  • Beneficial ownership in the Company through Western's Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

  • Participation in the Company's annual performance-based bonus program.

US Pay Range


$24 - $38 USD
