Job Overview
We are seeking a high-performing, results-driven Branch Account Manager to manage and grow a key regional portfolio. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Branch Accounts, this role is a hybrid of high-touch account management and proactive business development.
The ideal candidate will oversee a portfolio of 100+ existing clients across banking, ATM, and retail sectors, ensuring exceptional service and retention while actively driving up-sells, expansion, and new sales within the territory.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Portfolio Management & Growth: Manage, retain, and expand a book of business consisting of 100+ existing customer accounts.
- New Business Development: Drive new sales opportunities, respond to RFPs, and present custom service proposals to potential clients across the designated region.
- Client Advocacy: Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and operational branches, responding to daily client requests with speed and precision.
- Service Quality & Reviews: Schedule and lead regular client reviews to ensure high service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.
- Strategic Pricing: Plan, implement, and support rate increase initiatives and contract adjustments.
Primary Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales, Account Management, or Business Development.
- Operational Knowledge: Clear understanding of branch operations and logistics is required. P&L experience is a plus.
- Account Scale: Proven track record of successfully managing a portfolio of 100+ client accounts.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (desired).
- Technical Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite.
- Travel: Ability to travel within the designated territory up to 50% (or as needed for client meetings).
- Communication: Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Base Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
