Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Brake and Tire Technician to maintain the latest fleet and support customers in Brockton, MA. The role involves tire/brake service, tire mounting/dismounting, and occasional road tests on Ford and GMC trucks, with extensive on-the-job training and a family-oriented team culture.

You will join a production line environment, using proprietary tech to inspect and care for vehicles, while developing skills through Ford and GMC training programs.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of repair experience preferred.
• Driver’s license.
• The ability to work as part of a team as well as individually.
• Basic computer skills.
• Regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Secure trucks on lifts and ramps.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Mount, dismount, and balance tires.
• Occasionally road test vehicles.
• Work in a production line.
• Use a proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklist.
• Team Members are expected to willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.
