Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is immediately hiring an Automotive Technician to service delivery vans at client sites in Glen Burnie, MD. Starting pay ranges from $20 to $24 per hour, with a 5-day work week and typical 8am–5pm hours.

On-site training may occur in a customer retail environment before client work begins. Responsibilities include oil changes, tire services, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance, with opportunities to learn advanced repairs and state inspections.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Shift Information

5 Day work week option 8am - 5pm

About the Role: What will you do?

Basic Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• ASE Certification (s)
• Previous experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests, electrical, air conditioning, and primary and advanced fuel ignition experience
