Job summary

Continuum Resource Network is seeking a Firmware Validation Engineer - Brake & Steering to support the development, validation, and release of brake and steering control firmware in partnership with Tier 1 suppliers.

You will manage subsystem requirements, coordinate validation and regression testing, and collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure performance, quality, and release milestones are met.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in engineering or a related field with 6+ years of automotive experience.
• Strong debugging skills for hardware, software, and firmware.
• Experience with automotive actuator controls and validation methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain brake and steering subsystem specifications with suppliers and internal teams.
• Create and execute validation plans, regression tests, and ensure firmware changes meet milestones.
• Lead firmware defect resolution and impact assessments across teams.
• Develop and support diagnostic scripts and tools for system testing and validation.
• Collaborate with mechatronics, robotics, computer vision, and AI experts for system integration.
