Job summary

Anchor Manufacturing Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled press brake operator to set up and run a diverse line of metal stamping and formed parts. The role requires reading drawings, selecting tooling, and ensuring parts meet specifications with strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

The candidate will work with minimal supervision, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to production efficiency by meeting defined deadlines and maintaining organized work areas.

Qualifications

• Works independently and meets production rates and deadlines.
• Experience reading micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.
• Comfortable forming steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Minimum of two years’ experience setting up and running press brake equipment (Amada preferred).

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate the press brake to perform a wide variety of operations on a diversified line of work.
• Select proper punch and die tooling and calculate bend allowances.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and verify dimensions; perform quality inspection.
• Conduct first piece, in-process, and final inspections and maintain QA records.
• Follow safety, environmental, and quality policies; operate machinery safely.
• Work with minimal supervision and troubleshoot setup/run issues.
• Maintain clean, organized, safe work area and proper tool storage.
