Job summary

MicroMetl Corporation is seeking a Machine Operator - Brakes in Indianapolis, IN to operate Amada and Trumpf brake presses, forming sheet metal components to spec. This full-time role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and experience with brake presses, plus the ability to read drawings and perform basic math.

Work is in a non-climate-controlled warehouse with lifting up to 50 pounds; shifts include Daytime A shift M-Thu 5:30a-4:00p, with overtime potential during busy seasons.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical trade training preferred.
• Six months or more brake press experience.
• Ability to read simple English instructions and basic math.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and using measuring devices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Amada and Trumpf brake presses to form sheet metal.
• Produce components to specifications and document records.
• Work in non-climate-controlled warehouse and handle lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Adhere to safety and shop floor protocols.
• Potential overtime during busy seasons.
