Job summary

Crenlo Engineered Cabs is seeking a Brake Press Operator for the 3rd shift to ensure safety, quality, and productivity of the press operation. The role emphasizes timely processing of orders, proper tagging of finished material, and efficient material flow through successive stages.

You will read and interpret work orders, set up machines, perform quality checks, and document results while maintaining adherence to blueprints and setup procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead by example and coach others.
• Ability to read production orders and log documentation accurately.
• Ability to read a tape measure and blueprints.
• Knowledge of safety training and procedures manuals.
• Ability to perform quality checks and surface inspections.

Responsibilities

• Receives instructions, material requirements, prints, and work orders for the job.
• Plans details of working procedure.
• Stages material in work area.
• Performs routine maintenance and machine set-up if necessary.
• Operates machine to perform job on parts per instructions and blueprint specs.
• Performs first piece inspection and ensures dimensions and tolerances.
• Makes fine adjustments to machine to meet tolerances.
• Runs successive pieces or multiple operations.
• Performs periodic part inspections.
• Palletizes finished material with correct tags and part numbers.
• Completes required paperwork and moves material to next destination.
• Other duties as assigned.
