Job summary

O'Neal Manufacturing Services is seeking a Brake Press Operator for the 2nd shift in Cedar Falls, IA. Schedule: Mon-Thu 3:30pm–2:00am; training on 1st shift for 6–12 weeks (Tue-Fri 5:00am–3:30pm).

Responsibilities include operating brake presses, setting up tooling, following safety protocols, maintaining quality, and keeping the work area organized. Candidates must read blueprints, use measuring tools, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic critical thinking and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to operate forklifts and cranes; certifications required.
• Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints.
• Proficiency with hand tools and measuring devices.
• Ability to use tape measures, calipers, micrometers; read fractions/metrics.
• Ability to set up and operate processing machines.
• Able to communicate in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Set up and operate brake press and related machines.
• Adjust tooling, guides, jigs, and fixtures as needed.
• Operate various manufacturing equipment to produce parts.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support quality programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
