Job summary

Anchor Fabrication in Denton, TX is seeking an experienced Brake Operator for the 2nd shift to set up and operate brake presses, read blueprints, and ensure first/last piece inspection. The role offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus for experienced operators and a graveyard shift with overtime as needed.

Hours are 3:30pm-12:00am, Monday-Friday, with a $1.00 shift differential and potential overtime. High attention to safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience in the sheet metal fabrication industry preferred.
• Blueprint reading
• Good math skills
• GD&T knowledge and must pass test.
• Amanda and Trumpf Brake experience a plus.
• Epicor experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate all machine types in the Brake Department.
• Read blueprints and conduct first/last piece inspection.
• Apply knowledge of metal properties to bending operations.
• Perform clerical and labor reporting duties.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• May need to work overtime or different shift as required by company.
• Other duties as assigned.

About the Company

Anchor Fabrication is a precision metal fabrication company located in Denton, Texas, and is seeking experienced Press Brake Operators for the 2nd shift $1.00 shift differential, hours 3:30pm-12:00am Monday- Friday plus overtime as needed.

Duties and Functions

• Set up and operate all machine types in the Brake Department.
• Read blueprints and conduct first/last piece inspection.
• Apply knowledge of metal properties to bending operations.
• Perform clerical and labor reporting duties.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• May be required to work overtime or different shift than originally assigned based on company needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience in the sheet metal fabrication industry preferred.

• G/D & T Knowledge and must pass test.
