Job summary

Staffpros LLC seeks an experienced Brake Press Operator for the Brookfield/Waukesha area. Full-time, all shifts available, overtime required. You will read blueprints, select tooling, and ensure quality and traceability of parts.

The role requires brake press experience, blueprint reading, and proficiency with micrometers and calipers. HS diploma or equivalent is required, with pay $26–$30+ per hour depending on experience.

Brake Press Operator

Employment type: Full-Time
We have a client that is adding onto their staff and looking for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift brake press operators. This is a job shop so no repetitive work.
Job Responsibilities:

• Read, interpret and understand blueprints and drawings
• Identify appropriate materials for the job including the ability to check the type, size, quantity, quality and maintain traceability of parts
• Properly maintain, record and process work schedule, routings, paperwork, labeling, etc.
• Select change, maintain, store and install the correct tooling required to complete the job
• Visually check all tooling upon completion of run noting worn or damaged tooling and report any problems immediately to the supervisor

Job Requirements:

• Must have experience with Brake Presses including setups, tooling selection, etc.
• Must be able to read blueprints and drawings
• Must be able to properly use micrometers, calipers and other measuring tools
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Pay Rate: $26-$30+ depending on experience
Days/Hours: ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE
