Job summary

Wedlake Enclosure Systems in Tulsa, OK is seeking Brake Operator to join our growing manufacturing team. You will operate and set up press brake equipment to bend and form metal components according to drawings and quality standards.

Candidates should be safety-minded, detail-oriented, and capable of working with precision in a fast-paced environment. Experience with blueprints, measuring tools, and basic preventive maintenance is preferred; CNC press brake experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
  • Proficient with measuring and inspection tools.

  • Experience with press brake setups and metal forming is a plus.
  • Experience operating CNC press brake equipment is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate press brake equipment to form and bend metal components according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, work orders, and manufacturing instructions.
  • Select tooling and perform machine setups for production jobs.
  • Verify dimensions and tolerances using measuring tools.
  • Inspect parts to meet quality standards and customer specs.

Brake Operator (Manufacturing) - Tulsa, OK

Wedlake Enclosure Systems is hiring Brake Operators to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and set up press brake equipment to bend and form metal components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Successful candidates are safety‑minded, detail‑oriented, and committed to producing high‑quality work in a fast‑paced production environment.

We have multiple openings available on 1st and 2nd shifts, offering stable, full‑time employment and opportunities for career growth. What You’ll Do
  • Set up and operate press brake equipment to form and bend metal components according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, work orders, and manufacturing instructions.
  • Select appropriate tooling and perform machine setups for assigned production jobs.
  • Verify dimensions and tolerances using measuring and inspection tools.
  • Inspect completed parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Maintain production schedules while meeting quality and throughput expectations.
  • Perform routine machine checks and basic preventive maintenance tasks.
What We’re Looking For
  • 2-4 years of fabrication, manufacturing, or press brake experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
  • Proficiency with measuring and inspection tools.
  • Basic understanding of metal forming principles and fabrication processes.
  • Ability to perform machine setups and make basic adjustments.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality workmanship, and safety.
  • Experience operating CNC press brake equipment is a plus.
  • Experience in metal fabrication or heavy manufacturing environments is preferred.
