Job summary

The role requires 5+ years in scheduling or fulfillment, with strong knowledge of manufacturing planning, Kanban, JIT and related methods. Proficiency in Oracle and MS Office is expected, along with solid analytical and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in scheduling, supply chain or fulfillment.
• Knowledge: Manufacturing planning, Kanban, JIT, FIFO, Level loading.
• Skills/Abilities: Oracle scheduling tools experience; strong MS Office incl. Excel and Access; analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Education/Certification: BS degree required.

Responsibilities

• Draw up master schedule to meet shipping dates.
• Analyze specifications and capacity data to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
• Plan and schedule workflow for each department and operation according to established sequences and lead times.
• Plan sequence of fabrication and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers.
• Confer with supervisors to determine status of assigned projects; expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
• Prepare production reports.
• Prepare purchase orders to obtain materials, tools, and equipment.
• Any other tasks assigned by supervisor or management.
