Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Fresno, CA is hiring a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brakes, alignments, suspensions and related components. You will also test batteries, handle tire mounting/dismounting, and recalibrate TPMS systems while delivering top-notch customer service.

The role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with physical demands including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drivetrain and power steering components.
• Test and install batteries, dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and replace/calibrate TPMS components.
• Use equipment and hand tools; assist other employees; test drive vehicles; operate service vehicles for offsite/emergency road services.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to other qualified employees when needed.
