Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components for customers at our Hermiston, OR locations. You will handle tire mounting, TPMS calibration, battery testing, and offsite road service as needed, while delivering top-notch customer service.

The role emphasizes physical work, safety and quality, with opportunities for training and advancement within a national tire retailer.

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license required.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system and suspension components.
• Testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies; rebalancing wheels.
• Replacing, rebuilding and calibrating TPMS components; using tools; assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles and operating service vehicles for offsite or emergency road services.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers as needed.
