Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Corvallis, Oregon, is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake systems, alignments, suspensions, and related components. You will test, install, and calibrate parts, perform tire services, and drive to offsite jobs as needed while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Excellent customer service in fast-paced environments.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and TPMS components.
• Using equipment and hand tools to complete service tasks.
• Assisting other employees as needed.
• Test driving vehicles to verify repairs.
• Operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Providing excellent customer service and referring customers to qualified staff when appropriate.
