Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brakes, suspension, and alignment components, while delivering excellent customer service in line with company policies. The position includes wiring/TPMS work, battery tests, tire mounting, and tire balancing.

On‑the‑job training is provided to develop skills and ensure high quality workmanship. The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the physical stamina to lift up

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drivetrain and power steering parts and components.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tires and wheels, rebalance, and recalibrate TPMS components.
• Use equipment and hand tools to perform repairs and maintenance.
• Assist other employees as needed.
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and performance.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate findings to customers.
• Refer customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
