Job summary

Les Schwab is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension system components, while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves installing braking components, testing batteries, tire and TPMS work, driving for offsite service, and supporting team members. On‑the‑job training is provided, with comprehensive benefits for full‑time staff.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drivetrain, and power steering parts.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tires and wheels, rebalance wheels, replace/rebuild/recalibrate TPMS components.
• Use equipment and general hand tools.
• Assist other employees and test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road service.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Refer customers to other qualified employees as needed.

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components
• testing and installing batteries
• dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components
• using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools
• assisting other employees
• test driving vehicles
• operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service
• refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Experience:

Pay and Benefits:

$14.85 - $24.50 For full time positions after eligibility criteria are met, benefits include:
