Job summary

Les Schwab in Ogden, UT is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment and suspension components, with a focus on customer satisfaction and upholding company policies.

The role involves offsite road services, test drives, and using a range of hand tools and equipment. On-the-job training is provided to develop skills in brake systems, TPMS, and wheel services, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing/calibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Refer customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components
• testing and installing batteries
• dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components
• using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools
• assisting other employees
• test driving vehicles
• operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service
• refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Pay and Benefits:

$14.85 - $24.50 For full time positions after eligibility criteria are met, benefits include:
