Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Center in Murray, UT seeks a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake systems, suspensions, alignments, and TPMS components, and to assist with tire work and road services.

You will test and install batteries, rebalance tires, and calibrate TPMS, while delivering friendly customer service in a fast-paced shop. On-the-job training is provided and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license; excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.
• On-the-job training provided for Brake & Alignment Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Test and install batteries; dismount/mount tire and wheel assemblies; rebalance wheels; replace/rebuild/calibrate TPMS components.
• Use shop equipment and hand tools; assist other employees; test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Provide excellent customer service; refer customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
