Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Center is looking for a Brake & Alignment Technician in Utah to service brake, alignment, and suspension systems and to provide exceptional customer service. This full-time role involves installing, testing, and adjusting components, performing offsite road service, and driving customer-focused repairs with a team that emphasizes safety and quality.

You will lift and move tires, balance wheels, and work with TPMS as part of routine maintenance, all while following company

• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Valid driver's license; excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering components.
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and performance.
• Dismount/mount tires, rebalance wheels, and handle TPMS components as needed.
• Assist other technicians and operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.

Job Description:Brake & Alignment TechnicianBrake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.Primary Responsibilities:Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.; Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.Experience:Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.Qualifications:Valid driver's license; excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment; frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.Pay and Benefits:$14.85 - $24.50For full time positions after eligibility criteria are met, benefits include:Quarterly BonusMedical, dental, vision, and life insuranceCompany-funded retirement planPaid time offShort- and long-term disabilityEmployee discountTuition AssistanceBenefits are subject to change at any time and governed by plan documents and Company policy.
