Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Washington state is seeking Brake & Alignment Technicians to service brake, alignment, suspension and related systems. You will install parts, test drive vehicles, and provide excellent customer service following company policies.

Responsibilities include using specialized tools, performing offsite road service as needed, and working in a fast-paced environment with on-the-job training offered by Les Schwab. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Job Description:

Brake & Alignment Technician Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components;
• testing and installing batteries;
• dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components;
• using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools;
• assisting other employees;
• test driving vehicles;
• and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.;
• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Experience:

Pay and Benefits:
