Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is hiring a Brake & Alignment Technician in Kuna, Idaho. You will service brake systems, suspensions, and alignments, test batteries, and rebalance tires, using hand tools and shop equipment. You will also test drive vehicles and assist teammates to deliver top-notch customer service.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license.
Excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, occasional up to 75 pounds.
Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

Install/service hydraulic or electric brake systems and suspension.
Test and install batteries.
Disassemble/reassemble tire and wheel assemblies; rebalance wheels; recalibrate TPMS.

Test drive vehicles; operate service vehicles for offsite/emergency work.

Job Description:

Brake & Alignment Technician Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components;
testing and installing batteries;
dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components;
using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools;
assisting other employees;
test driving vehicles;
and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.;
Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Experience:

Pay and Benefits:
