Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician in Boise, ID. You will service and install brake, alignment, and suspension parts, test drives, and perform tire work while delivering excellent customer service.

The role includes on-the-job training, a focus on safety, and opportunities to work with a variety of tire and vehicle systems in a fast-paced environment. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train and power steering parts.
Test and install batteries.
Dismount/mount tires and wheels, rebalance, replace or recalibrate TPMS components.
Use shop equipment and hand tools.
Assist other employees and test drive vehicles.
Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road service.
Provide excellent customer service and refer customers as needed.

Job Description:

Brake & Alignment Technician Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components;
testing and installing batteries;
dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components;
using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools;
assisting other employees;
test driving vehicles;
and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.;
Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Pay and Benefits:
