Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake, alignment, and suspension components, and to perform related tasks with a focus on safety and customer service. The role includes testing and installing system parts, assisting other technicians, and supporting offsite road service as needed.

Qualified candidates have a valid driver’s license and demonstrate strong customer service abilities.

Formación

• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, twist, kneel, squat, reach, walk and stand for long periods.

Job Description

Brake & Alignment Technician Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services. Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Experience

Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license; excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment; frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds; frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Pay and Benefits

$14.85 - $24.50 For full time positions after eligibility criteria are met, benefits include:
