Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake, suspension, and alignment components and install tires. The role emphasizes customer service, driving responsibilities, and teamwork in a fast-paced shop environment. On-site work with regular lifting and testing of parts; benefits with growth opportunities and warranty coverage.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service brake, suspension, alignment, and drive train parts.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount and mount tires, rebalance wheels, and recalibrate TPMS.
• Use hand tools and equipment.
• Assist other employees.
• Test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road service.

Job Description: Brake & Alignment Technician

Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees.
• Test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Experience

Les Schwab offers opportunities for a variety of skills, and provides on-the job training for Brake & Alignment Technicians.

Pay and Benefits
