Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake systems, alignments, and suspensions, while ensuring to provide exemplary customer service across job sites. On-the-job training is provided as needed.

The role requires a valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 75 pounds, with a focus on safe vehicle handling, test drives, and precise tire and TPMS work. This on-site position offers full-time hours and benefits where applicable.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 75 pounds and bending, twisting, kneeling and squatting.
• Valid driver's license is required to operate company vehicles and travel to service calls.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and recalibrating TPMS components.
• Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
• Assisting other employees and testing vehicles.
• Test driving vehicles and operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Providing excellent customer service and referring to qualified colleagues when needed.
