Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician in Colorado Springs to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components while delivering outstanding customer service. You will work with batteries, tires, TPMS, and drive-train systems, using tools and equipment and supporting fellow team members.

The role involves offsite road service, test drives, and adherence to company policies and conduct.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
Testing and installing batteries.
Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
Assisting other employees.
Test driving vehicles.
Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
