Les Schwab Tire Centers in Fresno, CA is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brakes, alignments, suspensions, and related components, delivering great customer service. You will install and test brake systems, batteries, TPMS, balance tires, and calibrate components, using rugged shop tools.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, occasionally up to 75 pounds.
• Able to bend, twist, kneel, squat, reach, walk and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Install or service brake, suspension, alignment, drive train and power steering parts.
• Test and install batteries and TPMS components.
• Dismount/mount tires, rebalance wheels, and calibrate TPMS.
• Use equipment and hand tools; assist other staff; test drive vehicles.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services; provide excellent customer service.

Job Description:

Brake & Alignment Technician Brake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components;
• testing and installing batteries;
• dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components;
• using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools;
• assisting other employees;
• test driving vehicles;
• and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.;
• Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.

Experience:

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license;

Pay and Benefits:
