Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, biomedical science, public health, clinical research, laboratory science, engineering, or a closely related field.
• At least three years of progressively responsible experience in research laboratory operations, shared core facilities, scientific equipment management, or a closely related setting.
• Experience with NIH-funded research centers and compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation, administration, and operations of the NIH-funded RCMI Center.
• Collaborate with leadership, faculty investigators, community partners, students, advisory committees, and university stakeholders to advance strategic priorities.
• Provide day-to-day operational, technical, safety, training, and administrative management for the RCC core laboratory and shared research equipment.
