Job summary

North Carolina A&T State University is seeking a RCMI Clinical Research Associate/Lab Manager to support the NIH-funded RCMI Center focused on brain health and cardiometabolic diseases. The role requires managing clinical data collection, lab operations, and training for a multidisciplinary team.

The position emphasizes conducting translational human research with microbiota and neurocognitive endpoints, in a stratified 200-participant cohort within Greensboro, NC.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in kinesiology, exercise physiology, nursing, physical therapy, physician assistant studies, or closely related health-science discipline.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of direct experience in human-subject data collection, clinical trial coordination, or human physiology lab operations.
• A combination of a relevant Bachelor’s degree and extensive specialized clinical data collection experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate high-level clinical research data collection and oversee lab operations.
• Provide personnel training and regulatory support for the NIH RC MI project.
