Job summary

The Allen Institute in Seattle is seeking a Scientific Project and Alliance Manager for the Brain Health accelerator. You will partner with scientific leads to manage cross-functional projects, oversee timelines and budgets, and help prepare competitive external funding applications.

This role supports collaboration with external partners and internal teams in a hybrid work setting. Requirements include a PhD in biological sciences with a strong neuroscience background, at least 1 year of PM

Qualifications

PhD in biological sciences or equivalent combination.
Minimum 1 year of project management in a scientific or technical environment.
Proficient with project management and collaboration tools and best practices.
Experience with fiscal management of projects.

Responsibilities

Serve as Project Manager with scientific co-leads to ensure successful delivery of deliverables.
Support cross-functional teams throughout planning and execution lifecycle.
Plan and organize internal/external project meetings with clear agendas and outcomes.
Create and disseminate project deliverables and timelines using PM best practices.
Contribute to fiscal planning and budget tracking for projects.
Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders clearly.
Prepare for internal and external project reviews and funding applications.
