• Candidate must follow a student to multiple areas and learn Braille per National Library Service standards.
• Training will be provided to learn Braille by VI/TC.
• Must be Highly Qualified per the Department of Education.

Responsibilities

• Follow one student to multiple areas.
• Transcribe materials for students with visual impairments.
• Maintain transcripts and properly labeled files.
• Meet transcription deadlines with consultant support.
• Coordinate with VI/TC and teachers to prepare materials.
• Attend braille instruction sessions for student braille learning.
• Attend professional development to advance braille skills.
