Job summary

Qualifications

Minimum 60 college credits or an associate degree or higher.
Enrolled in a program for Library of Congress Braille certification.

Responsibilities

Assist development of pre-braille skills under guidance of a teacher/VI consultant.
Produce accurate Braille transcription to include scholars in classes.
Provide transcription support and classroom communication in English.
Aid in mobility, daily living and self-care activities as needed.
Support attendance, behavior data, and IEP team activities.
