Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC is seeking a Graduate Engineer for our Electrical & Gas Distribution team in Bozeman, MT. This entry-level role provides contract engineering resources to local utilities and supports capacity upgrades, system rebuilds, and relocation of infrastructure.

Responsibilities include design work, documentation, data analysis, and coordination with cross-disciplinary teams. ABET-accredited BS required; EIT preferred; 0–4 years experience welcomed.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Engineering or related field.
• EIT certification preferred for candidate.
• 0–4 years of practical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical and gas distribution systems per specs and codes.
• Produce detailed engineering and construction documents.
• Manage design lifecycle from initiation to project closeout.
• Analyze data from surveys, atlas, field sketches and datasheets.
• Obtain proper permits and easements as required.
