Job summary

Qualifications

• Rules governing the sport including WIAA guidelines.
• Current educational research and issues related to student athletes.
• Effective coaching techniques for developing student athletes.

Responsibilities

• Teaching sportsmanship, cooperation, work ethic and responsibility to one's team.
• Maintaining communications with the head coach including attending required coaches’ meeting.
• Assisting with team practices and competitions, supervising safety.
• Managing uniforms, equipment and school facilities responsibly.
• Ensuring availability of a properly supplied first aid kit and emergency care cards.
• Monitoring athletes' attendance, grades and conduct.
